A bad cover wouldn't keep me from LISTENING to an album, but a good cover would help me FIND an album.
So better covers would help sales but they don't necessarily make the music better bahah

I agree. An album cover has never stopped my from buying an album but if I'm just browsing with nothing in particular in mind I'd probably pick the album cover/back I like best.

i think its good at catching peoples eyes but i tend to find the ones i REALLY like have music i think is ehh or bad. but some are good.

i think it does to a certain extent. but it's really all about the music.
i might not buy an album from a band i've never heard of if the artwork just says the band name in a Times New Roman font in front of a boring plain white background.
but it really is all about the music.

I think it does, considering when I'm bored and in a music funk I go to Wal*Mart to find a new CD, preferably of the catchy name/attractive cover genre.
